Steward's Report
A pre–race urine sample was taken from Something Clever.
Chilli Pepper and Primo Tonic were slow to begin.
Chilli Pepper was severely checked entering the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Sir Coleman underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg hamstring injury. Stewards spoke to Mr John Delaroche regarding the greyhound pulling up prior to the return gate and failing to enter the catching pen. After hearing evidence from Mr Delaroche, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards issued a warning.
