Arka Chief was a late scratching at 6:28pm by Order of Stewards after it was established that the incorrect greyhound had been presented. At a subsequent inquiry, Stewards issued a charge under GAR 86 to Mr Bryan Sykes for failing to present the correct greyhound to the Stewards for this event. Mr Sykes pleaded guilty and was fined $250. Arka Chief has been stood down from racing pending the bonafides and correct identity checks being established. 

My Name's Evelyn was quick to begin. Red Leo and Tiles And Wine were slow to begin. 

Mandolin Wind was checked on the first turn and lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post–race urine sample was taken from My Name's Eden – the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Ms Michelle Nolan in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal of My Cool Breeze from this race. The comments of Ms Nolan were noted.

Stewards spoke to Mr Lachlan Fasoli regarding the racing manners of Good Vibes Only in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Fasoli, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Cersei's Boy was checked approaching the home turn and subsequently fell, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 12. Cersei's Boy was found to have concussion upon initial examination. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Viva La Vida and Secrets Without were quick to begin. 

Edinburgh Bale turned its head outwards on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left long head triceps muscle injury and right back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs Tammy Kennedy-Harris regarding Edinburgh Bale's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Edinburgh Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Kennedy-Harris pleaded guilty to the charge. Edinburgh Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

The start was delayed by approximately two minutes due to operational activities.

Smokin' Gracie was quick to begin.

Galloping Jessie was galloped on by Geani Bale on the home turn and lost gorund, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Darnum Diesel collided with Aston Spritz entering the home straight and subsequently fell, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right shoulder joint injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
