Tranquil Jack and Princess Mariah were slow out. Wongawillibeth crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dezdamona and Irish Rum. Irish Rum and Dezdamona collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds, Irish Rum stumbled as a result. Dezdamona and Tranquil Jack collided on the first turn. Dezdamona checked off the heels of Tranquil Jack on the first turn. Jilly Dynamo galloped on the heels of Bernmar Prince approaching the home turn checking Bernmar Prince. Buster Gordon and Jilly Dynamo collided on the home turn.
