Glamour Lee was re-vetted before the event and passed fit to run.
Cheque Mate was slow out. Remo Shark and Six Pak Zak collided soon after the start severely checking Remo Shark which stumbled as a result. Glamour Lee, Ryght Way and Dr. Galloway collided approaching the first turn checking Glamour Lee, Ryght Way, Cheque Mate and Six Pak Zak. Remo Shark was checked off the heels of Ryght Way approaching the home turn. Cheque Mate and Six Pak Zak collided on the home turn. Glamour Lee raced wide on the home turn. Dewana Star and Dr. Galloway collided entering the home straight.Six Pak Zak raced wide in the home straight.
Remo Shark was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small graze on the right hind toe, no stand down period was imposed.
