Captain Plod, Meadow's Girl and Queen Of Meadow's were slow out. Kobyboyn Flyer and Zulu Zepha collided soon after the start checking Kobyboyn Flyer. Captain Plod and Meadow's Girl collided soon after the start. Kobyboyn Flyer checked off the heels of Parumba Junior approaching the first turn. Parumba Junior, Captain Plod and Queen Of Meadow's collided on the first turn checking Parumba Junior. Zulu Zepha checked off the heels of Smokin' Shoes on the first turn and raced wide as a result. Parumba Junior clipped the heels of Kobyboyn Flyer approaching the home turn.
