Steward's Report
The start of this event was delayed approximately 4 minutes due to Glamour Fox being re-vetted prior to the running of the event after the greyhound slipped the lead at the starting boxes. The greyhound was passed fit to race.
Libba's Assassin, Takapuna Beach and Rachel Allen were slow out. Takapuna Beach and Rose Of Harvard collided soon after the start. Takapuna Beach galloped on the heels of Libba's Assassin on the first turn checking Takapuna Beach, Libba's Assassin and Rose Of Harvard. Libba's Assassin raced wide entering the home straight.
Libba's Assassin was vetted and no injury was apparent.
Steward's spoke to the trainer of Glamour Fox Mr. S. Holmes and reminded him of his responsibility to take more care when handling inexperienced greyhounds.
