Megan Allen was slow out.
Emerald's Sun and Gothika were checked soon after start, Emerald's Sun stumbled and fell as a result. Ginger Wally checked off the heels of Booma Pete approaching the first turn. Ginger Wally checked off the heels of Megan Allen on the first turn. Wine Drop Kid and Megan Allen collided on the first turn. Vagas, Wine Drop Kid and Booma Pete collided approaching the home turn. Wine Drop Kid galloped on the heels of Booma Pete approaching the home turn checking Wine Drop Kid, Booma Pete and Vagas.
Emerald's Sun was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind quad muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
