Steward's Report
Volandri raced erratically soon after the start. Dayeleon Puzzle, Trewly Special, Pororoca and Amarillo collided soon after the start checking Dayeleon Puzzle, Trewly Special and Pororoca. Corzac crossed to the rail approaching the first turn chekcing Trewly Special, Pororoca and Fenceline. Vapour Whirl, Amarillo and Volandri collided on the first turn checking Amarillo and Volandri. Dayeleon Puzzle and fenceline collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Dayeleon Puzzle checked off the heels of Vapour Whirl on the third turn. Vapour Whirl and Amarillo collided approaching the home turn. Trewly Special, Fenceline and Volandri collided on the home turn. Pororoca and Volandri collided in the home straight.
Samples were taken from Amarillo winner of the event.
Volandri Vetted: Right shoulder and left triangle soreness 5 days stand down.
Stewards issued a warning to trainer A. Langton in regards to the racing manners of Volandri soon after the start.
