Lygon Street, Dark Rhythm, Smurf's Madeline and Handy Start collided soon after the start checking Dark Rhythm and Smurf's Madeline. Magical and Handy Start collided on the first turn. Smurf's Madeline clipped the heels of Dark Rhythm on the third turn and stumbled as a result. Lygon Street was held up for a run approaching the home turn.
