Steward's Report
Earth Quake was slow out. Youth Worker, Nitro Neveelk and Earth Quake collided soon after the start. Youth Worker, Nitro Neveelk and Earth Quake collided on the first turn. Garfield Flyer and Youth Worker collided entering the back straight. Where's Hoover and Vasse Felix collided on the third turn, on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Vasse Felix was vetted following the Event and Dr. Alastair Smith, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right hock. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Smith, the Stewards will stand Vasse Felix down from competing for 5 days. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Scott Holmes, regarding the manner in which Vasse Felix raced approaching the home turn.
