Honorah's Lad, Planet Moon and Riverlee Shiraz were slow out. Chewy Rumballs, Trew Touch, Planet Moon and Zazzman collided soon after the start checking Trew Touch and Planet Moon. Honorah's Lad and Chewy Rumballs collided approaching the first turn. Zazzman and Riverlee Shiraz collided on the first turn. Honorah's Lad checked off the heels of Chewy Rumballs on the first turn causing Trew Touch to fall and severely check Planet Moon. Zazzman checked off the heels of Riverlee Shiraz on the third turn. Chewy Rumballs and Zazzman collided on the home turn. Trew Touch was vetted following the Event and Dr. Y. Indrawirawan, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained minor grazing to the left hind toes. Due to the minor extent of the wound, no stand down penalty was applied. A swab sample was taken from Schne Boodles, the winner of the Event.
