Zemsel, Fear and Kanjaro were slow out. Zemsel and Fear collided soon after the start. Smooth Snoozer and Youth Worker collided soon after the start. Fear checked off the heels of Dallas Gypsy approaching the first turn. Smooth Snoozer and Youth Worker collided on the third turn checking Youth Worker. Fear checked off the heels of Smooth Snoozer on the home turn. Zemsel and Bindana Storm collided on the home turn causing Zemsel to fall, severely checking Dallas Gypsy and Smooth Snoozer as a result.
Zemsel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent with the greyhound.
Dallas Gypsy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered from grazes on the left wrist, no stand down period was imposed.
Smooth Snoozer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound suffered grazing under the left hind pad, no stand down period was imposed.
