Dr. Ecustein was a late scratching at 8.44am due to injury.
Gill Star and Nip And Tuck were slow out. Miss Mini Dozer, Jack The Rat and Fifteen Left collided approaching the first turn. Gill Star was checked off the heels of Fifteen Left on the first turn. Jack The Rat and Hotline Boof collided on the first turn checking Hotline Boof. Miss Mini Dozer was checked off the heels of Hotline Boof approaching the home turn. Miss Mini Dozer and Fifteen Left collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Fifteen Left which fell as a result severely checking Gill Star.
Fifteen Left was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
