Steward's Report
Golden Patch was a late scratching at 4.20pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).
Warralonga Bird and Kublai Khan were slow out. Emma Michelle and Warralonga Bird collided on the first turn checking Warralonga Bird. Molly Molasses checked off the heels of Kublai Khan in the home straight.
Warralonga Bird was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. A subsequent veterinary examination again found no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Ms S. Dwight, the trainer of the greyhound Warralonga Bird. Stewards deemed the performance of Warralonga Bird unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Warralonga Bird must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
