Stealthy Bond checked off the heels of Angel I Am on the first turn. Hard Work and Stealthy Bond collided approaching the home turn. Hard Work raced wide entering the home straight checking Stealthy Bond. Boss Hummer veered out and marred the running of Fred's Angel approaching the winning post checking Hard Work. Emerald Delight eased approaching the winning post. Boss Hummer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) stewards charged Boss Hummer with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sale and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. Emerald Delight was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in stifle right hind leg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(5), the Stewards charged Emerald Delight with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT pursuant to GAR 69(6) before any future nomination will be accepted.
