Steward's Report
Dr. Dooby was a late scratching at 4:50PM due to illness.
Crawfish and Lots Of Style were slow out.
Best I Can and Stacer's Pride collided on the first turn checking Nat's Rising and Lots Of Style severly checking Stacer's Pride, which stumbled as a result.
Lots Of Style checked off the heels of Nat's Rising on the second turn. Stacer's Pride eased on the second turn and subsequently pulled up.
Nat's Rising and Lots Of Style collided on the home turn.
Stacer's Pride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in both shoulders, a 7 day stand period was imposed. Acting under GAR 98(1)(d), the stewards charged Stacer's Pride with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT before any future nomination will be accepted.
