Performance Inc was slow out. Performance Inc and Brindiwilpa collided soon after the start, checking Performance Inc. Brindiwilpa and Rambo Joe collided approaching the first turn. Fred Basset, Young Iredetta and Perfect Nicki collided on the first turn, checking the Young Iredetta. Fred Basset, Perfect Nicki and Ring Tone collided on the first turn checking Perfect Nicki and Ring Top. Brindiwilpa galloped on the heels of Ring Tone on the home turn, severley checking Brindiwilpa and Ring Tone, causing Performance Inc to race wide as a result.
