Steward's Report
Shabaf, Elite Kerry and Galloping Tara were slow out.
Ess Ess Minnow crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Elite Kerry, Another Bahama, Uno Terrah and Dr. Cresswell. Shabaf and Dr. Cresswell collided on the first turn. Shabaf, Dr. Cresswell and Elite Kerry collided approaching the second turn checking Shabaf and Dr. Cresswell. Shabaf and Dr. Cresswell collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Another Bahama eased approaching the winning post.
Another Bahama was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. A subsequent veterinary examination again found no apparent injury.
Acting under GAR 96.2 stewards charged Another Bahama with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sale and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 97.1 before any future nomination will be accepted.
