Steward's Report
Zola's Girl was slow out,Regal Robbie was very slow out,Chad Waters,Rare Wine and Hello Soxy collided soon after the start checking Rare Wine and Zola's Girl. Minus,Chad Waters and Akina Gem collided on the first turn checking Rare Wine and Akina Gem. Minus and Chad Waters collided approaching the second turn checking Minus,Rare Wine and Zola's Girl. Minus and Akina Gem collided on the third turn checking Akina Gem. Rare Wine eased approaching the winning post.
Rare Wine was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury,a 7day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 96.2 Stewards charged Rare Wine with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 3months (all Tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, Pursuant to 97.2 before any future nomination will be accepted.
