Linden North checked off the heels of Conni's Prize approaching the first turn causing Linden North to contact the running rail and stumble as a result. Linden North subsequently pulled up. Salegreys Cindy checked off the heels of State Power on the first turn checking Conni's Prize and Boscos Comet. Lucky Reaction and Salegreys Cindy collided on the first turn checking Salegreys Cindy. Elkianda and Boscos Comet collided on the home turn checking Elkianda and Conni's Prize. Linden North was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left foreleg and was euthanased.
