Steward's Report
Dr. Laycock was a late scratching at 4.45p.m. - seasonal.
Restless Appeal and Lee Kara were slow out.
Peneplain Lass, Restless Appeal, Mach Three and Butcher Branigan collided on the first turn checking Restless Appeal. Restless Appeal and Butcher Branigan collided approaching the home turn. Restless Appeal raced wide entering the home straight checking Butcher Branigan. Mach Three veered out in the home straight and marred the running of Mothership.
Mach Three was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained pain in right tricep muscle hind leg and also left lower thigh, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 96.1 stewards charged Mach Three with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Sale and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 97.1 before any future nomination will be accepted.
