Turbo Fergy was slow out. Pennikeato was very slow out.
Callum's Spirit, Cheque Checker and Takamaka Girl collided soon after start. Callum's Spirit checked off the heels of Takamaka Girl on the first turn. Blurr contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Blurr and Turbo Fergy. Takamaka Girl checked off the heels of Blurr approaching the home turn. Blurr checked off the heels of Cheque Checker approaching the home turn. Callum's Spirit and Pennikeato collided entering the home straight.
Blurr was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing right hind toe, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
