Steward's Report
Queen's Counsel was slow out. Super Image crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Volitivo, Lemnos Road, Phaeton Flame, Darrel's Puzzle and Shinter Mcginter. Volitivo veered out and marred the running of Queen's Counsel approaching the 150mtr mark and again at the 150mtr mark.
Lemnos Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found, no stand down penalty was imposed.
Volitivo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist and left digital flexor injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 96.1 stewards charged Volitivo with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Healesville and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT, pursuant to GAR 97.1 before any further nomination will be accepted.
