Steward's Report
Start Counting and Nifty Wilson were slow out. Lokito Boy crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Nifty Wilson. Canya See Me, Sonic Settler, Shady Grove Blue and Bella's A Beauty collided soon after the start checking Shady Grove Blue. Nifty Wilson crossed to the outside soon after the start. Lokito Boy and Bella's A Beauty collided at the 200mtr mark. Start Counting, Little Lagoon and Shady Grove Blue collided at the 150mtr mark checking Little Lagoon. Canya See Me and Sonic Settler collided several times approaching the winning post.
Sonic Settler was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a warning to trainer M. Patching for the manner in which Sonic Settler raced approaching the winning post.
