Eager John was a late scratching at 12.20pm due to weight variation.
Girrawarra Star was slow out. Stewart's Luck and Girrawarra Star collided soon after the start. Delrae Girl and Stewart's Luck collided at the 300mtr mark. Meadow's Girl and Delrae Girl collided at the 150mtr mark severely checking Delrae Girl. Keen Fury checked off the heels of Badger's Supreme at the 150mtr mark.
Delrae Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right quadriceps, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Meadow's Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
