Go Diego Go was slow out. Pepper Shaker, Moment By Moment, Ardrossan and Where's Tonto collided soon after the start. Pepper Shaker and Moment By Moment collided on the first turn. Ardrossan and Teebone Tony collided on the home turn. Moment By Moment and Pepper Shaker collided on the home turn checking Pepper Shaker and Burning Doll. Teebone Tony eased in the home straight.
Teebone Tony was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triangle and right thigh, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Teebone Tony with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a STAT pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
