Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Flinders Street.
Flinders Street was slow out. Dr. Galloway and Emm Train collided soon after the start. Baron's Chance and Brandeen Tommy collided soon after the start. Modern Deceit crossed to the rail approaching the first turn severely checking Emm Train, Dr. Galloway, Tavarua and Brandeen Tommy. Baron's Chance and Brandeen Tommy collided entering the home straight checking Baron's Chance, Brandeen Tommy and Our Red Baron.
Tavarua was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
