Steward's Report
Far Out Shiraz was slow out. Floodgate Red's paw became wedged in its muzzle soon after the start causing the greyhound to pull up. Hello Jess was checked off the heels of Mad Polly soon after the start. Hotplate Barbie was checked off the heels of Outer Reach on the first turn. Mad Polly was checked off the heels of Kickalong Doll approaching the home turn. Outer Reach was checked off the heels of Prince Xavier entering the home straight.
Floodgate Red was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
