Flying Envy – Late scratching at 6:16pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a right sesamoid injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Bun Quake and Uriah Bale were quick to begin. Bounding Chief and Mill Ali were slow to begin.

Bounding Chief (trainer's request) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn nail on the right foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Cachi (visibly eased turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 4. Cachi was found to have a left flexor tendon injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Louie Bicchieri regarding Cachi’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Cachi was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Bicchieri pleaded not guilty to the charge. Cachi was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Armagh and Dartrix Bale were slow to begin.

Forbes Delight (faltered turning into the back straight and subsequently lost ground) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Small Demeanour (failed to pursue the lure with due commitment turning into the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mr. Robert Hayes declined the option to have the greyhound re-examined. Stewards spoke to Mr. Hayes regarding Small Demeanour’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Small Demeanour was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Hayes pleaded not guilty to the charge. Small Demeanour was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at the Meadows (first offence) and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shadow Riot (fell in the catching pen) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Bahrose (raced ungenerously turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Michael Bewley regarding Bahrose's racing manners. After hearing submissions from Mr. Bewley, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
