Steward's Report
Heart To Heart – Late scratching at 9.10pm when Tracey Salter reported the greyhound to have an elevated temperature (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant, P. Brennan, did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Mr. Simon Barker was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Kara Danvers, pursuant to GAR 88.
Reiko Venus was quick to begin. Barellen Moon, Misty Blue and Kara Danvers were slow to begin.
Stewards noted that I'm Cheeky and Reiko Venus collided multiple times in the home straight. After viewing the available race footage, Stewards formed the view that these collisions were caused by I'm Cheeky shifting out. Stewards took no further action.
