Steward's Report
Payback and Take A Carnation were slow to begin.
Due a lure carriage malfunction approaching the catching pen, the event was converted to a finish-on. The lure carriage was subsequently changed and tested prior to the running of race 4. All greyhounds underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to the change in event conditions after the winning post.
Got My Mojo was found to have injuries to the right fibula, left back muscle and split webbing on the right foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Payback – no apparent injury was reported.
Limestone lost ground over the concluding stages. Limestone underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
