Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Lure Driver Mr. C. Chilcott did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Thunder Bay (marred Rebel Thinker on the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms. Julie Chilcott regarding Thunder Bay’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Thunder Bay was charged with marring. Ms. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge. Thunder Bay was suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Post-race samples were taken from Lanfranco (1st) and Thunder Bay (4th).
