Steward's Report
Hot Saki – Mr Keith Lloyd was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Mr Lloyd were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.
Inga Johnny, Moraine Jackal and Whipping Along were slow to begin.
Moraine Jackal collided with Saint Raine on the first turn and became unbalanced, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Glenn Judd regarding Moraine Jackal’s racing manners on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr Judd, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Moraine Jackal unsatisfactory. Moraine Jackal must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
