Steward's Report
Miss Blaze, Mumma Moo Shaka and Avery Charm were quick to begin. Back Pay was slow to begin.
Miss Blaze (turned its head inwards on two occasions in the home straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have discomfort in the right hind sesamoid. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms Tina Womann regarding the racing manners of Miss Blaze in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Miss Blaze was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Womann pleaded guilty to the charge. Miss Blaze must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
