Steward's Report
Moraine Tom was quick to begin.
Aeroplane Astro (raced awkardly entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left track leg injury and injuries to both chest muscles. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Jerome (turned its head inwards and marred the running of Aston Bruno in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr P.Frost regarding Jerome’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Jerome was charged with marring. Mr Frost pleaded guilty to the charge. Jerome was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
