Aston Bianca – Late scratching at 2:09pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. A. Symons was fined $100.
Major Molly and Bonnieville Icon were slow to begin.
Oriental Garnet (severely checked soon after the start), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left pencil muscle injury and a left triangle muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from She's Extreme - the winner of the event.
