Steward's Report
Aficionado and Wonder Jab were slow to begin.
Wild Aussie (visibly eased, turned it's head outwards and marred Redshift Papa), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. John Chircop regarding Wild Aussie’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Wild Aussie was charged with marring. Mr. Chircop pleaded guilty to the charge. Wild Aussie is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
