Harry Zoom and Riot As One were slow to begin.
Rob The Butcher (marred Our Dreamer in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left and right back muscle strain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Terry Meyer regarding Rob The Butcher’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Rob The Butcher was charged with marring. Mr T. Meyer pleaded guilty to the charge. Rob The Butcher was suspended for 28 days at shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
