Our Luna, Audacious Rachel and Impatient Capers were quick to begin.
Spolly Rock - turned in the boxes - underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Spolly Rock – Turned in the boxes, took no competitive part in the race and was placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 106(1) and pursuant to GAR 132.
Our Luna - underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left metacarpal . A 5 day stand down period was imposed.Stewards spoke to Ms. Jennifer Gieschen regarding the racing manners of Our Luna in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms Gieschen, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
