Steward's Report
Life's Good – Late scratching at 13.08 due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Paul Cusack informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Cusack that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
A pre - race sample was taken from Neesa Giblet.
Exiled and Dewana Fair Go were quick to begin.
Ruby Runner - fell in the catching pen - underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left acillies . A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
