Steward's Report
A pre - race sample was taken from Ruby Runner.
Raw Panic was quick to begin. Cinderella Story was slow to begin.
Cinderella Story underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Corey Fulford regarding the greyhound pulling up prior to the return gate and failing to enter the catching pen. Stewards noted that Cinderella Story had failed to enter the catching pen at Traralgon on 5/5/2023 and was issued with a unsatisfactory performance on that occasion. Acting in accordance with GAR 129, and being mindful of the safety of Cinderella Story, other greyhounds in the race, staff, and participants, Stewards were not satisfied with the performance. Cinderella Story was placed on a Satisfactory Trial under GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, with the condition that the greyhound must run past the return gate in order to clear the Satisfactory Trial, before any further nominations are accepted.
