Steward's Report
Beat The Falcon – Late scratching at 2.02pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Philip Dower was fined $100.
A pre–race sample was taken from Burning Liquor.
Insane Brockie was quick to begin. Rear View Mirror and Criss Cross Lass were slow to begin.
A post–race sample was taken from Predator Dreams – the winner of the event.
Rear View Mirror (severely checked and fell after winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to left tibia. No stand down period was imposed.
