Name The Rainbow, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Garry Condon regarding Name The Rainbow's overall performance in the event. Mr. Condon declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Condon to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Name The Rainbow in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. Mr. Condon also stated that he is planning on retiring Name The Rainbow following today's event.

Mr Geoffrey Green was fined $100 under GAR156(f) for negligence, after the greyhound Bomber's Lady was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Club Officials were reminded of their responsibilities and this matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Hay Riley visibly eased turning off the back straight. Underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 11. Hay Riley was found to have right long head triceps muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr Lindsay Fulford, regarding Hay Riley’s racing manners turning off the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Hay Riley was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Fulford pleaded guilty to the charge. Hay Riley must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
