Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Cruisy Magic.
Cruising Loren was quick to begin. Electric Paws and Usain Road were slow to begin. Electric Paws raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.
Coconut Oakland (severely checked approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Super Sketchy (marred Aston Recall approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Representative Mr David Pryse regarding Super Sketchy’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Super Sketchy was charged with marring. Mr Pryse pleaded guilty to the charge. Super Sketchy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
