Steward's Report
Greysynd Shock and Slingshot Snoop were slow to begin.
The Judge incorrectly displayed a dead heat between numbers 2 (1st) and 5 (2nd). This was corrected to 2 (1st) – 5 (2nd) – 6 (3rd) – 1 (4th) before the All Clear was given.
The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage after a plover was positioned on the track in the back straight and inadvertently made contact with the lure. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.
Following this event the lure carriage was inspected and deemed safe for racing.
