Whizbang Gordon (stumbled at box rise), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. D. Geyer regarding the racing manners of Whizbang Gordon at box rise. After hearing submissions from Mr. Geyer, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
