Hurricane Julie faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have shin soreness to left foreleg. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Bomber's Demon underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal sprain. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Margaret Read regarding Bomber's Demon’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Bomber's Demon was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Read pled not guilty to the charge, Bomber's Demon was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

The announcement of the All Clear was delayed for the Stewards to review the race footage. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected by any intervention, mechanical issue or other extraordinary circumstance so as to effect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.

Our Hulk Spolly underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left hind foot spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mangrove Merv– Late scratching at 13:41 on the advice of the On– Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to Left hind foot Papilloma . A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Tahlia underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Victory Boom, Mr. Lawson and Awesome Isla were slow to begin.

Victory Boom raced wide approaching the first turn to the home straight.

Victory Boom underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right hock sprain and chest injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Victory Indi was quick to begin.

Vitality Blast was severely checked and contacted the running rail on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left radius and tibia abrasion. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Ride Know More – Late scratching at 11:19 when Ms Cindy Fulford reported the greyhound to have a dew claw injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Superfly Girl was quick to begin. Jasprizza Bale was slow to begin.

Sons Of Tom and John Rambo were quick to begin.

Haimi Bale fell in the catching pen, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock fracture . A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

It was noted that the muzzle of Bomber's Lady became dislodged during the running of the event.

Ms Loren Dalziel requested an early race endorsement for Whizzer. The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian. Whizzer will compete in early races until further notice.

Moon Dragon was quick to begin. Whizzer was slow to begin.
