Steward's Report
Barooga Pete was slow to begin.
Aston Bundy (lost ground entering the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 130, Aston Bundy was ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 130, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Queston Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4. Queston Bale was found to have sand toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Correy Grenfell regarding the racing manners of Queston Bale. After hearing submissions from Mr. Grenfell, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
