Barooga Pete was slow to begin.

Aston Bundy (lost ground entering the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 130, Aston Bundy was ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 130, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Queston Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4. Queston Bale was found to have sand toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Correy Grenfell regarding the racing manners of Queston Bale. After hearing submissions from Mr. Grenfell, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections. 

My Only Hope (stayed in the boxes) and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jeff Galea, the trainer of My Only Hope, after the greyhound stayed in the starting boxes and took no competitive part in the event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory. Acting in accordance with GAR 129, My Only Hope must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

The sectionals and finish time were manually hand timed for My Only Hope in this event.

Gizmo's Girl and Pegleg Pete were quick to begin. Avon Swan and Destini Phantom were slow to begin.

Zeam Bale – Late scratching at 2:39pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. Correy Grenfell was fined $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Pass The Buck.

Pass The Buck and Master Of Dreams were quick to begin. Cherry Red was slow to begin.

There were no reportable incidents in this event.

Mr. Jeff Gorgioski was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Alicah, pursuant to GAR 88. 

Squiggly Bob was quick to begin. Spring Gonzales was slow to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Squiggly Bob - the winner of the event.

Maddie Odd Sock was quick to begin. Zipping Olaf was very slow to begin (4L).

McIvor Jill (fell on the first turn) and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Spring Casper (severely checked on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstrings muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Greysynd Shock.

Neroli and Hot Scotch were quick to begin. Dutch Riot, Coulter Bale and Sunisa Bale were slow to begin.

Coulter Bale (faltered and lost ground soon after the start), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an eye injury/condition, an elevated temperature and a lumbo-sacral injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to representative, Ms. Deb Coleman about the performance of Coulter Bale and the injury reported by the veterinary surgeon. Acting in accordance with GAR 42(4), Stewards must receive a veterinary certificate of clearance that indicates the greyhound’s vision is adequate to allow the greyhound to see the lure. Upon receipt of this clearance, Coulter Bale must then perform a Satisfactory Trial, pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Nadina Bale and Cool Cabang were quick to begin.

Xatu Bale was slow to begin.

Mr. Jeff Gorgioski was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Audenzia, pursuant to GAR 88.
