Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Distracting.
Bermuda Ben and Distracting were slow to begin.
Rocket Ralph, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Darren Petersen regarding Rocket Ralph's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Rocket Ralph was charged with marring. Mr. Darren Petersen pleaded guilty to the charge. Rocket Ralph was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
